About Wakana Saeki, MD  

Born in Japan, Wakana Saeki, MD came to the United States when she was 9 years old. She graduated from UC Berkeley, where she majored in Molecular and Cell Biology. She received her medical degree at the UCLA School of Medicine, and she completed her Internship and Family Medicine Residency Program at Northridge Hospital in 1998.   

Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Saeki worked for the UCLA Medical Group for three years before founding the Peak Health Medical Group with her partner in 2001. She is justifiably proud of Peak Health’s growth over the past 15 years, and she and her partner are honored to have joined the Doctors of Saint John’s organization.   

Dr. Saeki remains fluent in the Japanese language, and she is proud to serve her community with a large Asian American population.   

Dr. Saeki is married and has three delightful daughters. She enjoys spending her free time outdoors with her family, playing badminton with them, and watching her daughters play basketball.  

Dr. Saeki and her staff is professional, caring, courteous, respectful, and prompt. They all explain their roles clearly and what will happen next. They followed all COVID-19 related safety protocols with a smile in a pleasant and friendly environment.

My provider is very very thorough. She does not rush me at all. She listens to all my concerns and addresses them. I am extremely happy with the care I have been receiving. She's also very prompt with getting blood work back to me and analyzing the results and if I have any questions she's very prompt with email.
