Obviously Dr. Fischer is a very busy surgeon.. I'm currently dealing w/a melanoma that was removed from my nose and Dr. Fischer will remove a lymph node at the same time the Plastic Surgeon goes to repair my face after the skin-flap surgery.. Because of their conflicting schedules, I'm still waiting to hear when this will happen.. Dr. Fischer seems like a very caring individual and I'm hoping the necessary procedures can take place soon.

Dr. Fischer admitted to going back over my body scans to see if they missed anything regarding the spread of this disease. I respect that and the fact he is very easy to speak with. He doesn't make you feel like you are putting him out or your stupid question was beneath him answering. He makes you feel like an old friend and not like he is this super great surgeon (that he is). Definitely glad to have him on my team dealing with this garbage.

Attentive and efficient

The receptionist sent me to the cancer unity and that frightened me, but it turns out she should have sent me to the breast care unit. Aside from my dermatologist, Dr. Fischer is my only other male physician. I was happy that he brought a female into the examination room with him. That was very considerate. He asked permission to examine me before touching me and I really appreciated that. He was very thoughtful and thorough in his examination of me and in explaining to me why my primary care physician referred me to him and what the next steps were. I received an almost immediate follow-up call and email to schedule my biopsy.

I can't say enough good things about this provider. I feel very confident in his care.
