Dr. Rettinger is a terrific doctor and always goes above and beyond! She took the time to explain everything to me and got me on a good plan moving forward.

Dr. Rettinger is incredibly knowledgeable, takes time to understand and explain things well and determine the best course of treatment. She is kind, thorough and makes sure you have all of your questions answered. One of my best experiences with a doctor despite it being online.

I have met with this provider via telemedicine for a few years. I would occasionally like to meet in person.

Difficult getting an appointment in the timeframe requested by the doctor. E.g. "Let's see you again in 6 weeks". But when attempting to schedule an appointment 6 weeks from then, no appointments available for 10 weeks. This protracts timely care.

My friend recommended Dr. Rettinger to me 3 or so years ago and I count myself very fortunate to have her for my doctor. Dr. Rettinger is professional, positive, and friendly. She has been so helpful in guiding my care for the past several years. I really appreciate that she makes a point to listen and respond to my questions and concerns with her in-depth and current knowledge and expertise. I am grateful to have the benefits of her obvious commitment to shared decision making.

I was worried my concerns might be dismissed as I had heard that many endocrinologists are afraid of diagnosing possible PCOS but she was very adept at discussing differential diagnoses, ordering the right bloodwork and tests, and open to taking seriously PCOS.

Dr. Rettinger is warm, extremely pleasant, knowledgable, patient and very intuitive. We were seeking an integrative endocrinologist who doesn't treat the lab results, but the whole person. This was our first appointment with her, but we feel as if we are in good hands. She takes time to look at all of your medical history and not just the last result. As a family suffering from Hashimoto's and other complications, we are relieved to be working with her. My other daughter will be seeing her soon too.

Suggestion. The doctor was very thorough and informative and helpful. However the sheer amount of information was too much to retain even a couple hours after the appointment. It would be very useful to receive an after visit summary. With next steps and an actual summary of what was discussed. Right now my after visit summary on "My Chart" has zero useful information .

The doctor is exceptional. Listens very well and asks probing questions related to the disease and medication. Her skill has helped me enormously. My disease was quite serious when I first saw her; I was quite sick and substancially incapasitated. She reviewed the records thoroughly and found problems in previous testing that other doctors had either not recognized or ignored. She ordered highly specialized tests and prescribe medication that she frequently updated based on my progress with the treatment. Presently my disease is stable because she monitors me closely. I am grateful to have found highly qualified doctors at SJPP who have developed plans of care for me that have effective. Dr Rettinger is one of the best.

Staff always calls ahead before virtual visit to go over records, meds etc. Doctor Rettinger is the best. Always a mutual visit where you feel heard and understood.

My experience with Dr. Rettinger was my first appointment and thankfully will not be my last. Dr. Rettinger is one of the only physicians I see that started our conversation by saying that she wanted to hear what was going on and for me to take all the time I needed. That allowed me the time to focus on explaining the last five years of various diagnoses, symptoms, possibilities of causes of symptoms, current diagnosis of thyroiditis and treatment plan. Dr. Rettinger asked questions, offered opinions and food for thought as she felt important to our conversation. I never felt that what I was saying was being dismissed or rushed. I felt that based on my first interrelation with Dr. Rettinger, she is one of the most insightful, intuitive and intelligent physicians I have had the pleasure of meeting.

Really liked how careful she was and spend time with me without feeling rushed, my only concern is the appointment started quite late, the front desk ladies didn't even call for the check until after my apt time- even though I had also checked in online- so it was 40min plus late...other then that great experience

Dr. Rettinger knows my medical history and monitors my health care to insure my thyroid is functioning properly.

She was very thorough in exploring both pros and cons of various options. She gathered a detailed history to make sure of potential risks and benefits to make sure that her suggestions were gonna be the right ones for me. She was friendly and personable.
