I have met with this provider via telemedicine for a few years. I would occasionally like to meet in person.

Difficult getting an appointment in the timeframe requested by the doctor. E.g. "Let's see you again in 6 weeks". But when attempting to schedule an appointment 6 weeks from then, no appointments available for 10 weeks. This protracts timely care.

My friend recommended Dr. Rettinger to me 3 or so years ago and I count myself very fortunate to have her for my doctor. Dr. Rettinger is professional, positive, and friendly. She has been so helpful in guiding my care for the past several years. I really appreciate that she makes a point to listen and respond to my questions and concerns with her in-depth and current knowledge and expertise. I am grateful to have the benefits of her obvious commitment to shared decision making.

Dr. Rettinger is warm, extremely pleasant, knowledgable, patient and very intuitive. We were seeking an integrative endocrinologist who doesn't treat the lab results, but the whole person. This was our first appointment with her, but we feel as if we are in good hands. She takes time to look at all of your medical history and not just the last result. As a family suffering from Hashimoto's and other complications, we are relieved to be working with her. My other daughter will be seeing her soon too.

Dr Rettinger is my favorite doctor for a fairly complex problem I am living with. I feel like we manage my health together versus just having a doctor drone on about their own thoughts. She listens and has empathy. I am never rushed. One of the finest doctors I have dealt with.

Suggestion. The doctor was very thorough and informative and helpful. However the sheer amount of information was too much to retain even a couple hours after the appointment. It would be very useful to receive an after visit summary. With next steps and an actual summary of what was discussed. Right now my after visit summary on "My Chart" has zero useful information .

The doctor is exceptional. Listens very well and asks probing questions related to the disease and medication. Her skill has helped me enormously. My disease was quite serious when I first saw her; I was quite sick and substancially incapasitated. She reviewed the records thoroughly and found problems in previous testing that other doctors had either not recognized or ignored. She ordered highly specialized tests and prescribe medication that she frequently updated based on my progress with the treatment. Presently my disease is stable because she monitors me closely. I am grateful to have found highly qualified doctors at SJPP who have developed plans of care for me that have effective. Dr Rettinger is one of the best.

Dr. Rettinger knows my medical history and monitors my health care to insure my thyroid is functioning properly.

She was very thorough in exploring both pros and cons of various options. She gathered a detailed history to make sure of potential risks and benefits to make sure that her suggestions were gonna be the right ones for me. She was friendly and personable. She answered all of my questions in ways I could understand.

The provider is fabulous - unfort that like many offices this one isn't great - not nice to deal with. Also have to book way in advance - I had to wait over a month for the first appt.
