About Rudolph Bedford, MD
Rudolph A. Bedford, MD, has proved himself repeatedly as an endoscopy icon in the West Los Angeles medical community for more than 10 years. Considering Dr. Bedford’s experience in interventional endoscopic, diagnostic, therapeutic endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) and endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), you could not be in better hands.
Dr. Bedford received his medical degree at Case Western Reserve University, and he did his internship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center, specializing in Internal Medicine. He did a double residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, specializing in Internal Medicine. He completed his fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Gastroenterology and the Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Therapeutic Endoscopy.
Dr. Bedford and his wife, a judge, have three sons: twin 16-year-old boys and a 23-year-old son. Dr. Bedford enjoys cycling and working out in his spare time. But whenever they get the chance, he can be found globe-trotting with his wife and their three sons.
Dr. Bedford is known for his calm demeanor, and he appreciates and enjoys the many relationships he has developed in the Westside community.
