About Rose Lin, MD
Rose H. Lin, MD is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. She has been practicing for over 18 years and has worked in the San Fernando Valley for the past 10 years. She also recently established a practice in Santa Monica to better serve the community in which she lives, and she was delighted to join The Doctors of Saint John’s in April 2020.
After graduating from UCLA as an undergraduate, Dr. Lin earned her medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville. She completed her Internal Medicine Internship and Residency and was selected to be Chief Resident at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego. She subsequently went on to complete her Endocrinology Fellowship with the VA West Los Angeles Healthcare System.
Dr. Lin has a particular interest in diabetes but enjoys seeing all general endocrinology patients. She believes it is essential to work in partnership with her patients to achieve their optimal health goals.
Dr. Lin lives in Santa Monica with her husband and young children, and when she is not with her patients, they enjoy yoga, cooking, hiking, snow sports, and traveling together.

As always, she was prepared, knew my most recent test results and made well considered, succinct, understandable treatment directions going forward. We did arrive at a new medication to use. She is very thorough and listens to your concerns. Then she makes sure she addresses them. I was referred to her due to my previous endocrinologist leaving the area. I was concerned about the transition but after my visit with her my concerns were erased and I was very pleased to be a part of her practice.

This appointment was to help determine whether any support was needed from Dr. Lin for a hereditary high-cholesterol issue. It was not this practices fault that medical records requested from the primary doctor were not properly submitted in time for the scheduled appointment. Dr. Lin was very professional and courteous and detailed with review of my medical history. I would definitely continue and/or recommend her practice based on my experience.
