As a retired R.N and one who has always been in supervisory positions I have a tendency to be critical when it comes to health care providers, as such when I visit Dr Shafipour's office I view everything critically but I find the staff knowledgeable, helpful, respectful and very pleasant to deal with. They are very attentive and respectful and accommodating not only to me but to the other patients in the office and happy to help. I find Dr. Shafipour to be very caring, knowledgeable and listens to my concerns and responsive in a welcomed way. I find him responsive to my concerns. He was recommended to me by another patient of his and I am so pleased that I listened to them. Overall, I am very satisfied with D. Shafipour and his staff and would recommend him without reservation. Thank you.

However, because I have a number of health issues and symptoms going on at the same time, I feel there is never enough time in the appointment for me to address some of the other issues, questions or concerns I may have. I must say that Dr. Shafipour almost always gives me more time than is standard and customary for appointments. I know there are times he wished he could give me more time but had other patients waiting.

This provider is my Primary Care Provider (PCP), and both myself and my husband have been with this practice for many years. We both love this practice - the doctor and all the staff in his practice. The only issue that I have is that it very difficult to get an appointment unless I book it weeks or months out in the future - because they are so busy and don't have the availability. Occasionally, I get lucky if they get a cancellation and I happen to call in right then.

I came to Dr. Shafipour after being admitted to St Johns hospital 3 weeks prior. I did not have a family doctor/general practitioner at the time nor for a number of years. I feel very fortunate to have found a doctor's office that I can literally check all the boxes to. Dr. S listened carefully, addressed all my concerns, offered an excellent plan going forward and provided me with additional ways In which I can improve my health. All personnel at his office were kind, efficient, helpful and added to the totally positive experience. I received a follow up call the day after my visit to schedule the next appointment in 3 months time.

Dr. Shafipour is an excellent care provider. He seems to care about my health and wellness in a holistic manner. My only complaint would be that it is difficult to schedule an appointment with him directly and I'm more likely to see the nurse practitioner. This is the sole reason I would not recommend him to everyone I know - I would hate for him to be less available.
