I have been going to this practice since 1978. I have been very fortunate with all physicians I seen over the years.

Dr Shulman was very friendly and knowledgeable, I really felt like she listened and helped me with the issues I saw her about. I couldn't have asked for a better experience with her.

Dr. Shulman is very thorough and takes the time to explain everything. I am fortunate enough to have her as my provider.

Dr schulman is the best. Though establishing care when you have an issue with your reproductive system was very difficult. Even my PCP couldn't get me in to establish care for 3 months. It would be nice if your PCP when providing the office with serious health issues could help get you seen earlier.

Dr. Shulman is fantastic, she is the best obygyn I have had and I appreciate how respectful she is and her willingness to answer questions in depth with data as well.The Providence administrators group, however, need work, as many of their phone numbers listed on the Providence website are out of date.

I really like and respect Dr. Shulman. She is easy to talk with, knowledgeable and has been very helpful with the health issues that I am dealing with. I trust her and would feel comfortable recommending her to any of my friends. I sense that the office staff is very busy, but the staff I've met at other St. John's practices seem more approachable.

The visit was pleasant and met expectations.

Dr. Shulman is the best OB by far (is always recommended as one of the best OBs on the Westside). She is a gem. You're lucky to have her. Fix the phone system in the Playa Vista office so that I can call her directly. (If you haven't already)

Love Dr. Shulman! She makes me feel at ease and comfortable being open with her about what is going on in my body. I hate being in a Doctor's office, but if I have to be, I'm glad it is with her.

Overall LOVED the doctor, just had to wait an hour to be seen. But worth it given the quality of care. Just hope the wait won't be as long next time.

Dr. Schulman was a breath of fresh air after my last OB/GYN. She was kind, she asked questions and really listened, she was informative and helped answer my questions. I felt instantly comfortable with her and really appreciated her warm and professional demeanor.

I have been with Dr Shulman for years, and saw her throughout my first pregnancy and L&D and had the best experience one could ask for during early motherhood. She always answered my nervous questions and made me feel at ease. Furthermore, I had a relatively smooth L&D despite being extremely nervous and I feel that is a testament to Dr Shulman and the entire Providence staff.

Dr Shulman is very knowledgeable and thorough. She's prompt in acting on my medical needs. Always gives enough time as needed in our appointments and answers all my questions.

My annual gynecological visit was a smooth and professional experience. The provider was thorough, listened to my concerns, and made me feel comfortable throughout the appointment. They explained everything clearly and took the time to address my questions. The staff was friendly, and the check-in process was efficient. Overall, I appreciate the quality of care I received.

AT LAST I FOUND AN OBGYN! Dr. Shulman was warm, thoughtful and smart...she knows about Peri and Meno which is essential as I am in that transition, I had a concern about ab pain and she was graceful doing an ultrasound and put me at ease. We learned it was nothing (cycle was 6 days late) so cramps...but I felt in good hands. She will now be my Doc for hormone therapy and all things female, I have gone thru several Obgyns and have been disappointed and angry at the lack of care and intelligence. Finally I have someone I trust. She is wonderful (prompt clear responses to me on Mychart also which I appreciate.)

Dr. Shulman is a fantastic provider. I absolutely adore her. Sadly, her office is run by some not very nice people. I needed to be seen for an urgent matter and was told she was backed up for three weeks. It's usual policy at everyone's office to see urgent matters quickly. I doubt this was brought to Dr. Shulman's attention. I was told to go to urgent care in the meantime. So, she is a fantastic doctor but she needs much better receptionists/office staff.

Accessible on mychart messaging feature, recommended me medication that works better for my body, advised me on medication interaction, makes me feel safe and comfortable asking questions. Dr Schulman is amazing-- I started going to her based on a patient recommendation, and since then have recommended her to many colleagues and friends

Dr. Shulman is an excellent doctor. Unfortunately she's often over booked but I assume it's cause she's so good. I can say she is always working in the after hours too. She's very good about responding to emails. She works incredibly hard.

Dr. Shulman was great as usual. She has a good bedside manner and is always very thorough and easy talk to and that's why I refuse to see any other OBGYN doctor except for Dr. Shulman. Other office staff at this facility are always friendly and welcoming. But this past visit, the wait was unusually long. It took me over an hour to get out of the office, which triggered a parking fee, when the total time spent with Dr. Shulman was less than 15 minutes.

Paula is a very personable doctor who listens to my concerns and works with me for solutions.

LOVE Dr. Shulman! Only issue is that scheduling is sometimes hard to get an appointment in a reasonable amount of time, but that's likely because she's such a great doctor everyone wants to see her!

Excellent care

It was my first time seeing her because my previous gynecologist of decades recently retired. She and her office were very good about fitting me in to see her for an immediate issue. I have a regular check-up with her soon, which will include follow-up on the issue I saw her for last week.

Dr. Shulman and her staff are amazing. Great service and on top of everything.

To be clear, I followed Dr Shulman here because she is a wonderful medical practitioner. I only wish she could provide all my healthcare services. She is kind and attentive, remembers her patients. I feel heard and understood by her. In the past I have had very poor experiences with Providence and I have been on the hunt for a new primary care physician in another practice. BUT for Dr. Shulman, I will put aside my bad feelings about Providence.

She was replacing my doctor because she was not available that week

Dr Shulman is absolutely wonderful. I do wish her front desk staff was a bit warmer. Especially given that women are showing up to this practice pregnant (and oftentimes extremely nauseous in first trimester) a smile or hello goes a long way.

Dr. Shulman was lovely and easy to talk to. I was disappointed in the wait time and that I had to find a nurse to ask when I would see the doctor since it was 45 minutes past my appointment time.

Dr shulman was warm and considerate. It took a long time (a few months) to get an appointment but I'm glad I saw her. I've seen some different specialty doctors in the providence system, mostly not great experiences and I left feeling not helped and charged for it to boot, but Dr. Shulman was different in a positive way. I look forward to seeing her again for my next visit.

Dr Shulman is the very best! She has been with me through a harrowing first delivery, traumatic cornual pregnancy surgery and high risk second pregnancy and early delivery. She is always professional and caring and I trust her deeply.
