About Mina R. Kang, MD
Dr. Mina Kang obtained her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She completed her internship and residency in Combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics through Jefferson Medical College at Christina Care Health Center and A.I. DuPont Hospital for Children in Delaware. She was on faculty at UCLA for 7 years prior to joining The Doctors of St. John’s. Dr. Kang currently serves as the Medical Director of the Hospitalist Group at St. John’s Health Center. She continues to teach medical students at UCLA and volunteers her time with student medical outreach efforts. Her interests include caring for patients of all ages, improving communication between hospitalists and primary medical doctors, and teaching humanism in medicine. Dr. Kang is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics since 2009.
