About Loren Castellon, M.D.
Loren Castellon (she/her/ella) is from Los Angeles and is very grateful to be working with patients in the community where she was raised. She went into medicine to help patients feel more connected to their health and to provide patient-centered care. As an OBGYN, she hopes to be a provider that her patients feel comfortable trusting, and in turn looks forward to learning from them at every step in their medical journey.
Her research within the field of OBGYN has included investigation of health disparities relating to anemia treatment and blood transfusion rates in the birthing Latine population. During her training, Dr. Castellon was the recipient of the Louis A. Vontver Excellence in Resident Teaching Award for her consistent exemplary student
