Dr Martyak is patient, thoughtful, knowledgeable and efficient. I was pleased with my visit. She has a great "bed-side manner." I am confident that she will provide me with excellent health care. My only disappointment is that her schedule Is booked for weeks in advance so it took a while before I had my first appointment and my colonoscopy isn't taking place for 3 months. In fairness, she offered using a different doctor for the colonoscopy and I declined to do so.

Dr had an amazing bedside manner. She was very informative. She inspired confidence and calmed my nervousness about the procedure.

The wait to see the doctor is my only complaint. She is otherwise friendly, knowledgeable, takes the time to listen to you and explains things extremely well. I think she is very competent but I still waited over one year to see her and I made my next visit with her exactly one year in advance. I could have had zoom visits with her but I prefer to actually meet & see the doctor.

I felt Dr. Martyak listened very carefully to my issues, examined my medical records related to this issue and asked very thoughtful questions. Based on her understanding and knowledge, she developed a very clear plan of action to help me resolve the issues. We will start with the simplest actions, but she also ordered a follow-up study in case my symtoms continue. It was all taken care of very seamlessly in the office. Dr. Martyak is very popular and it's very difficult to get an appointment with her. Scheduling colonoscopies and endoscopies can take months. Luckily, I needed one quickly and they found an opening. She Is a very good and caring doctor. I wish there were more like her!

Dr Martyak is a highly sought after doctor. I had made this appointment six months earlier. During that time though I came in to see the PA who then scheduled me for endoscopy/ colonoscopy with Dr Martyak. I received the care I needed and continue to. I kept this original appointment as it took place 3 weeks after my tests which resulted in findings requiring medication. This allowed for us to discuss my protocol and next steps. I am certain that I will have access to Dr Martyak and her staff while I am being treated and continue testing.

The care I received from the provider was excellent. When I initially called to make an appointment I was told that it would be 5 months but was called the day before the virtual appointment thus waiting only 2 weeks.

Dr. Martyak is an excellent doctor. She is a brilliant diagnostician and a caring physician.

I saw Dr. Martyak as a 5th year follow-up to a colonoscopy. She was very welcoming and asked questions about any problems I might be having digestively which might need attention as well as recent and/or ongoing medical issues. Since I am not experiencing any medically significant symptoms in her specialty and am about to celebrate age 85,, she carefully went over options with me and my husband, and discussed my most recent medical history. Before completing the visit, she checked my heart, lungs and abdomen for any irregularities and found me in good condition. She is a fine professional, easy to talk with as she looks you straight in the eye, and caring.

My provider is an excellent doctor. It's just difficult to get an appointment within a reasonable time.

I corresponded with Dr. Martyak thru the portal. I wrote I was "feeling alone" in the process of understanding my condition. The next morning I received a phone call from her office, immediately offering me an appt. Not only did Dr. Martyak "hear" me but she also had me come into the office to support me, continue to educate me about what I was going thru and she offered additional support from her PA. I could not have asked for me. I am so confident in Dr. Martyak and am grateful she's my doctor.

Dr Martyak is an excellent physician. She or some one else needs to train her staff to answer phones, schedule appointments, understand. Urgencies and be more patient focused and driven to address patient needs. Staff is the issue.

Dr. Martyak squeezed me into her very busy schedule at the last minute. She thoroughly explained my issue & gave complete instructions for managing my condition. I did have to make several phone calls to the office to try to get a message through to the doctor regarding my need to be seen urgently. Once I was able to get a message to Dr. Martyak, she made arrangements to see me the next day.

Dr. Martyak is excellent and has been the first to actually help with my intestinal issues. I'm very happy I found her. Staff is very welcoming as well.

Dr.Martyak is an exceptional doctor. The wait for appointments is long. Providers other than the doctor attempted to answer questions on the patient portal when they clearly didn't know my medication dosages, history, or prior instructions from the doctor, and these people gave instructions that made no sense. Thankfully the doctor sent a message later with clear instructions.

Dr Martyak is terrific! Very smart, knowledgable and relateable. The only problem with seeing Dr Martak is you always wait a long time for your appointment to start. The wait is well worth it, but it has always been that way. Scheduling seems to be a persitent problem.

I like the doctor and the staff a lot. This type of specialty is sometimes hard to discuss, but she is open, and frank about the topic. I feel like she listens and takes action accordingly. Scheduling can take a little while, but it's understandable, with an good doctor.

I was very impressed that the doctor had looked at my history before coming into the office. She was able to clearly explain the conditions that were a concern. I appreciated the fact that she had a scribe so she could address my concerns without having to also type. It was a great relief to have had a visit with a doctor who seemed to care about my Issues. (Recently, I had an unfortunate experience with a couple of doctors, other than St. John's, who stayed on the computer with their back to me during the whole visit.)

Dr. Martyak is an excellent doctor but once I leave the office it is next to impossible to get in touch with her. If I have a question I have to use her portal which she only responds to once a week. This type of communication makes me very uneasy after having two surgeries in a year and a half.
