My initial request for appointment (asked by my GP) made the appointment three months in advance. MY GP called doctor and appointment was moved up to within a week. I wasnt worried but happy to get in sooner.

Dr. Kawano has always made me feel comfortable with him. At this last meeting my heart was going a little fast when they checked it at check in and he checked It again and it was still fast. He had an EKG done to be sure there was no real problem. I had to tell him I was going to be moving and probably wouldn't see him again. He ordered refill prescriptions to be sure I was okay until I find a new doctor after my move. I always appreciate his care and courtesy.

Dr. Kawano spent time in asking a number of questions. He was calm & not rushing me for answers. I was not used to such care. He did not seem alarmed with my current health. DR. Kawano is a cardiologist and this was my first visit ever to a cardiologist. So, I was very comfortable with him and he spent a LOT OF TIME with me. He is smart and also clever. I liked him a lot. He has a plan to do more testing bc I have calcium in places that are dangerous. Even tho it is not a lot, it is still a problem. I was glad to see him and I will be glad he will guide my care in this new area.

My heart is not in good condition; it was worse than I thought so I was shocked when he told me, and it was hard to understand exactly what the doctor is trying to tell me. He was patient and asked loads of good questions.Also I have not completed any tests yet so no one communicated result to me. He did have an ECG done and he discussed the results with me before I left.
