About Jeff Sung, MD
Dr. Sung is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician of 20 years who recently changed careers to Palliative and Supportive Care. In so doing, he obtained a Master’s of Science in Palliative Care. Dr. Sung worked at Providence Holy Cross for the majority of his career but now works full-time at Providence Saint John’s. His clinical interests include palliative medicine in oncology, palliative medicine in progressive neurologic disease, integration of palliative medicine throughout the illness continuum, and integration of palliative medicine in the emergency department. Dr. Sung lives in Santa Monica and is dedicated to serving his local community at Providence Saint John’s Health Center. When not at work, you can find Dr. Sung surfing, hiking, spending time outdoors, playing soccer, and spending time with his two children.
