About Jacqueline Trejo, MD, F.A.C.O.G.
Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Jacqueline V. Trejo, MD, F.A.C.O.G. is a gynecologist and obstetrician with expertise in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Born in Lima, Peru, Dr. Trejo’s family immigrated to California when she was a young child. She has always been focused and hard-working, so her dream of becoming a physician was soon realized.
Dr. Trejo graduated from UC San Diego in La Jolla with a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology, followed by a master’s degree in Physiology from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. She went on to earn her medical degree at the University of Texas Health Center in Tyler, Texas, where she graduated at the top of her class. Dr. Trejo then returned to Los Angeles and completed her internship and residency in OB-GYN at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. She is a Fellow (FACOG) with the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Dr. Trejo is a passionate advocate for Hispanic health and women’s health issues in Los Angeles. She is also an active member of the American College of OB-GYN as an immunization advocate.
When not seeing patients or working on her professional endeavors, Dr. Trejo enjoys spending time with her husband and being an active parent of two.
