My visit with Emily was great! She has a wonderful bedside manner. I appreciate that I felt heard and that my appointment consisted of good and helpful conversation. The reason I saw her much past my appointment time was not her fault. There was confusion about my mammogram, which was completed right before my clinic visit. Apparently the wrong order had been submitted (order was for mammography of just my left breast when it should have been bilateral). Once that was resolved, everything was 20+ mins behind schedule.

I love Emily Wright! She is warm and friendly. She asks questions and really listens to what you have to say. She looks you in the eye when you are talking. This is less common than you would think! I couldn't be happier with my care at the Breast Center. EVERYONE I interact with there has been top notch from receptionists, business people, nurses and doctors. I literally recommend to everyone the Breast Center at St. Johns.

I want to commend the Breast Cancer Center for their excellent work. I had an emerging breast infection from a Diep Flap procedure. My micro plastic surgeon who had handled my previous one, did not respond to my phone calls about my emerging infection for three days. I turned to St. John's instead, where I receive care from my onco-surgeon. Every point of contact was outstanding - especially since it was the day before Thanksgiving. From the initial intake, to the follow up call, to the the nurse practitioner, everyone listened and validated my concerns and then clinically examined them in a logical and caring way. It turned out I did have breast infection and because of the St. John's team I received proper treatment for it and will also receive a follow-up appointment to conclude that no infection lingers. When you have breast cancer, having people understand your concerns and address them in a caring and logical way is so important. Your team at St. John's did that and more. Thank you for all that you do to make the care at St. John's exceptional. I hope that you convey this to all the folks there and let them know how grateful I am for their work, which is not only excellent, but also loving.

This was my first time meeting with Dr. Spence and she was lovely. She even did my Pap in the office as part of the annual check which saved me the time and hassle of making a separate appointment with an OBGYN to get it done. Very lovely experience establishing primary care here.
