Physician Assistant
Darlene Paguio is a physician assistant practicing urogynecology at Saint John’s Women’s Health Institute. She began her health care journey at the University of California, Davis, where she earned a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. There, she was published in academic journals for her contributions to animal research and learned about the physician assistant profession.
She went on to receive her degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Sacred Heart University and has been practicing as a physician assistant since 2020, with a focus on women’s health. Her practice emphasizes patient education, collaborative treatment, and surgical outcomes. She is passionate about empowering women.
Outside of work, Darlene enjoys spending time with her rescue dog, Tofu.
