About Daniel Reiness, LPCC
After college, Daniel took a detour from mental health and spent years working as a sushi chef around the country. Eventually he was called back to his original passion of psychology and mental health. Upon completing his graduate studies at Indiana University, Daniel began working in community mental health and substance abuse treatment. This background has prepared him well to help people address a variety of behavioral health concerns. Daniel takes a cognitive behavioral approach combined with mindfulness and other methods to teach patients skills for coping with stress, anxiety, depression, and other issues. While emotional pain may be an inevitable part of life, he believes that anyone can learn effective ways of managing it.
