About Cornelia Daly, MD, F.A.C.O.G.
Cornelia B. Daly, MD, F.A.C.O.G. received her nursing undergraduate degree with honors from UCLA, where she excelled as a clinical nurse across various medical fields. Inspired by both her mother and a dean at the UCLA medical school, she realized that becoming a physician would be the best way to fulfill her lifelong goal of helping people.
Dr. Daly decided to go for her medical degree at the UCLA Geffen School of Medicine in Los Angeles. After earning her degree, she completed her internship at the UCLA Medical Center in Santa Monica, followed by a Family Practice residency at UCLA. She then went to the USC Medical Center in Los Angeles to complete her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency.
Following her graduations and residencies from UCLA and USC, Dr. Daly became a physician in both Family Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology. She was one of the first female physicians in private practice on the West Side of Los Angeles and is recognized as a pioneer in women’s health in the community.
Those who know Dr. Daly knew when she started in the medical profession that there was no limit to her compassion for helping her patients. Her years of experience in women’s health issues, combined with her own experiences from being married and raising four children, have helped her shape positive outcomes and better overall health for women in her community.
Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Daly is a Fellow (FACOG) with the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology. She has had several of her articles published in the National Library of Medicine.
