Dr.SanMiguel is one of the most thoughtful, generous, and helpful physicians I've ever worked with. She is patient and considers my symptoms in a broad comprehensive context. I feel very lucky to be working with her and greatly appreciate her care.

Dr. Sanmiguel was meticulous about obtaining every detail about my case, asked additional questions, checked my medical history with depth and care, resulting on a precise diagnosis, followed by medical prescription, an MRI and Endoscopy. I was very pleased to note that what seemed to be a particular problem based on my symptoms, she was able to zero-in on the probably cause and discipline to follow. I am extremely grateful to be under her care and know that should any member of my family need medical care under her discipline I would refer them to her practice.

Dr. Sanmiguel is an exception GI physician. She analyzed the current difficulty I am having swallowing even after dilation was done and came up with a new medication that had just been approved. Dr. Sanmiguel always listens to the difficulties I am having eating and in reviewing endoscopy films was able to explain to me the approach we are now trying with this new med to decrease inflammation and ulceration. She is always empathetic as well as innovative in her approach to my achalasia. So grateful for this level of healthcare she provides.

Dr San Miguel is outstanding! She always takes the time to fully understand my condition and make appropriate recommendations and referrals. Also since she is bi-lingual it is an added bonus on receiving medical care.

I love Dr San Miguel and think she is an awesome physician. I don't like having to wait three months to see her even if I am having a critical situation. The reason I see her is because I have very specific gastro issues and I think she is way smarter than most. I can't wait to see her in three months if I am doubled over in pain. Her staff doesn't seem to make an effort to try and fit a patient in when they are in distress. I have referred three patients to her and they have all had the same problem I have. I can't even get her to call me back if I am having a problem. So, she is great for routine stuff but not for emergencies.

Wonderful care from doctor!! Polite helpful efficient support staff!! Lengthy wait time for doctor on our virtual appt since she was completing a previous appt. This is understandable when providing thorough care which is so appreciated, but a staff call back when she was ready would have been helpful and freed me up during lengthy wait.Otherwise the doctor and office staff are a 10!!

This doctor is really great and I would highly recommend. It is difficult sometimes to get an appointment in a short time frame if you're having serious problems, sometimes you have to wait a month which isn't always feasible. But they do offer to call if there are cancellations and that's how I've been able to get in sooner to see the doctor so I appreciate that.

Dr San Miguel was clear in her explanations, and listened well to my questions and concerns. The reception area is not private and seemed to be an odd set-up for discgarging patients. I would not expect a specialty provider to discuss all of my medications but simply to confirm what I am taking, which the staff did, and for the provider to advise me if anything I take is in conflict with her plan.

I'm so happy I found Dr San Miguel, she has been the most caring physician genuinely ordering tests, exams, procedures in an astonishing time manner. The most through gi doc I have ever had. I really like how she listened to me and how she respected my desire not just be thrown on a bunch of prescriptions. When I went to My Rheumatologist soon after seeing this doctor my Rheumatologist had all of the notes which were extremely through. I believe this GI doctor will be the first to actually follow through and figure out my gut problems.
