Dr. Nishio is a kind and caring expert in Women's Health. She discussed my exam with me and encouraged me to follow up with er yearly, even if we do the Pap every 2 years. I felt very comfortable in her care and would recommend her highly.

Dr. Angela Nishio has been my gynecologist for many years and though her primary specialty is obstetrics, I have always felt that she is an exceptional physician who has been extremely attentive and receptive to all my concerns. Post menopausal women benefit from her guidance and explanations. She gets to the issue immediately and with utmost respect. I value this trait that she excels in and in my opinion, I appreciate a direct response.

I am past child bearing age and feel like this group now prioritizes pregnant patients (who generate more revenue for the practice) than other patients. I've seen Dr Nishio for almost 20 years and she is absolutely my favorite doctor. I will likely stop seeing her going forward because of the extended wait times to both make an appointment with her and when I'm the office (I arrived as instructed for a 9am appointment at 845 - I was taken back to an examining room at 915 and saw the doctor from 940-945.)

I love this provider with only one exception-- trying to get a return phone call about a issue can take days. I've had to call and leave multiple messages to hear back. There have been times I haven't heard back and I've had to consult with a different provider to get my answer. When I'm in the office this provider is wonderful.

Dr. Nishio was very accommodating when I called the office experiencing bleeding. I got an appointment the same day even though I had not been to the office before and wasn't scheduled to see her until mid May. I unfortunately was miscarrying a pregnancy and Dr. Nishio was very calm, reassuring, and helpful during a difficult time.

Dr. Nishio was a pleasure to talk to. She was direct and answered all of my questions and concerns that I had. She had to perform a procedure and wanted to make sure that I was fully aware of what would happen and any discomfort that I might feel. She kept me talking throughout the entire procedure which kept me distracted to the point that I really didn't feel much discomfort at all.

Dr Nishio is amazing. She listens, she understands and she knows the best things to prescribe for whatever issues you have. When I mentioned some issues I had recently she did an additional test to ensure everything was ok and that there were no hidden issues causing problems.

Dr. Nishio is an amazing OB. She's the perfect balance of friendly and focused, I never have to wait long to see her, which means she's efficient, and I feel like she is extremely knowledgeable. I feel like I'm in good hands in her care.

For a general OBGYN, Dr. Nishio is amazing. I have since gone to see a specialist for my condition, and I found out the treatment that generalists are commonly informed to give to patients is ineffective and outdated. However, Dr. Nishio gave me information no one else in my life did before her and I will always be grateful.

I am pregnant with my first child. Dr Nishio has been absolutely amazing to me, as have all the staff at St John's. Whether its a nurse, front of house, or the porter who wheel-chaired me out to my husband, they have all been beyond amazing. So much so that we were looking to have our baby at UCLA but will now most definitely be having him or her at St John's. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
