About George Wu, MD
Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease, George C. Wu, MD also has a special boarding in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. He has an interest in preventive cardiology as it pertains to coronary artery disease.
Dr. Wu received his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine, followed by an internship and residency at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. He completed a cardiology fellowship at the Harbor UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California, where he was honored as Chief Fellow.
Dr. Wu joined the Pacific Heart Institute in Santa Monica, California in 2001, and he is a board member for Leading Cardiologist of America and President of the Circle of Willis Organization.
When not working with patients, Dr. Wu enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He is an avid swimmer and enjoys traveling back home to New Jersey for vacation.

Excellent doctor and office staff. Very good experience. I arrived early for my appointment, and during visit, opted for ultrasound exam, not scheduled. As I travel from a distance, doctor and staff set me up ASAP for the exam so I would not have to return on another date. Much appreciated! I had a lot of down time waiting for the scan, which was well after my scheduled time, and then I had wait again for the blood work. The office did seem busy that day.
