About Grace Tassa, MD  

Grace M. Tassa, MD was valedictorian of her college at Yeshiva University, and she holds degrees in both Biochemistry and Judaic Studies. She received her medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City, where she graduated with Distinction in Research. Dr. Tassa went on to complete her internship and residency at the Overlook Medical Center in New Jersey. Then she completed two medical ethics fellowships, including one at the Ethox Centre – Oxford University in the UK. Dr. Besides being certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Tassa also holds a Medical Humanities certificate.   

Dr. Tassa enjoys partnering with her patients to help them reach their health and wellness goals. She believes self-care is vital and encourages her patients to cultivate a healthy routine that fits their individual needs.   

Besides her clinical work, Dr. Tassa also devises and oversees quality improvement initiatives that benefit patients throughout the local healthcare system. Dr. Tassa has authored multiple publications, including research articles and medical textbook chapters. She enjoys keeping current on science, medical literature, popular health topics, and she is also a prenatal and vinyasa yoga instructor.   

When not with patients, writing, or doing research, Dr. Tassa enjoys practicing yoga, visiting with friends and family, and especially spending time at the park with her son.  

Dr Tassa establishes a warm, caring, and professional relationship with me every time I see her. We review my complete health together – both physical and emotional – and develop a plan to address each concern. I couldn’t ask for better care!
