About Andrew Yun, MD
Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, Andrew G. Yun, MD, is a nationally recognized surgeon and specialist in hip and knee joint replacement. He is also the Medical Director of Joint Replacement Services at Providence Saint John’s Health Center and is a leader in Joint Replacement. His focus is on helping to ease his patients suffering from arthritis pain. Physicians throughout Los Angeles have voted him the high honor of a Super Doctor of Southern California.
Dr. Yun’s most significant concerns are surgical safety, surgical performance, and outcomes, and he cares deeply about technical precision and results. He supervises an outstanding team of healthcare professionals, doctors, nurses, aides, and therapists who will teach, comfort, and guide you during recovery.
Dr. Yun graduated from Princeton University and earned his medical doctorate from the Stanford University School of Medicine in Stanford, California. He interned at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC)-Harvard Medical School in Boston, then followed that with his surgical residency at Harvard Combined Orthopedic Residency Program in Boston. Dr. Yun pursued advanced training in adult reconstructive surgery at Harvard and Cornell Hospitals. He completed his fellowship training at the Weill Cornell/Rockefeller/Sloan Kettering Tri-Institutional MD-PhD Program in New York.
